Letters will be mailed out in December/January if you are eligible to join.
Candidate packets will be due on Friday, September 23, 2022.

The Leonard J. Tyl chapter of the National Junior Honor Society had their 7th annual induction ceremony on May 4, 2022. Congratulations to the 23 eighth grade students who were inducted.
The selection of these students was based upon careful consideration of scholarship, leadership, service, and character by our faculty council. Members will be required to do additional community service, and NJHS sponsored service projects. The goal is to not only honor deserving students but to also continue to foster their service and leadership characteristics.

Community service hours need to be completed in the summer. If you are accepted, YOU MUST COMPLETE AN ADDITIONAL 15 HOURS DURING THE REMAINDER OF YOUR 8TH GRADE YEAR. Those hours are due by Monday, June 1. This is mandatory. The form will be available at the meeting and can be found here as well.
